Non-Fiction
Look, I know. I'd rather be writing about something completely and utterly made up, myself. But sometimes this stuff just seeps through the cracks! Or waltzes right in through an open door, I'm not sure. I read more nonfic than I write by a large margin, and I was ready to say that I also don't reach much of it very often -- but when I really thought about it, I was surprised by how much non-fiction I actually have consumed even just recently. My last three book purchases were non-fiction (regarding Heian Japan, natch, but special interests gonna be specially interesting and all that).
