Wings -- spring into spring!

The Layout

Every layout I create for Wings and all its subsites is made using valid HTML and CSS, and is designed to be responsive, thus readable on screens of all resolutions, running on any system. The layouts are tested on Windows for desktop and Android for mobile, using all major Chromium and Gecko-based browsers. Unfortunately, I don't currently have the ability to test my layouts via any form of iOS, so, my Apple-flavoured viewers will have to let me know if there are any issues. Accessibility overall is a very important tenet in all my designs, so if you come across something that is unreadable or seems to not display correctly, no matter what system or browser you use: absolutely feel free to contact me and let me know. I can only fix an issue if I'm aware of it, first! ♥ Be sure to tell me what browser you're using on what system, and, if possible, sending along a screenshot of your issue is always a big help.

"Why on earth are you making a spring-themed layout in the middle of fall?" I hear some of you ask. For one thing, right now it's spring in my slice of the world -- aaaand for about a billion other folks, too -- and for another, I have never experienced the season of "fall" in my life. Autumn, however, is another story...I jest, I jest -- don't take it too seriously or you'll choke on your pumpkin spice latte. But anyway, yes, that's why: because it was spring where I was while I constructed this layout. (Er, well. Kind of? Australian springtimes during El Niño years kind of just...are maybe a couple of weeks of gorgeous, hovering-at-24ºC-esque weather, then BAM HI REMEMBER SUMMER IT STARTS IN OCTOBER THIS YEAR LOL. Even the flora and fauna are getting confused...)

This skin also exists because Tsuki's Odyssey is one of the cosiest little games you'll ever play. If you like any of the Animal Crossing games, you'll love this, too. ♥ I'm not being sponsored by its creators or publishers or anything, I just genuinely enjoy it. And, I mean. Look at how cute the characters are! (Do not be fooled by Moca's cuteness. It's all on the outside. That turtle is an absolute little shit and I can never work out whether it's hilarious or ire-inducing or both.) I go into further details about this one over on the games page~

The image song for this one was Roy Kim's adorable 봄봄봄, for obvious reasons. I could have picked a slew of spring-themed songs, really, but the moment I started tinkering with the graphics, this one started playing over and over in my head. Bizarrely, I'd only heard it a single time before: during a Korean class at uni, back in my autumn of 2019 -- my professor Park-ssaem played it for the class because we were learning seasonal words that day, or so she claimed -- I think it was honestly just a song she really liked (seeing as far more recent examples of spring songs could have been BTS' "Spring Day" or even Park Bom's "Spring", which wasn't even a year past its release at the time!), and she looked a little blushy when she played it; so cute. I enjoyed it, and then promptly forgot it totally...until I started on this layout, and the chorus kept repeating in my head. I didn't even know who the artist was, or what the real title was! Luckily, it was easy to find. ♥ The blessings of being a catchy song, I suppose! (And as a bonus track, of course the Beatles' "Here Comes the Sun" (du-du du-du~) started playing on my mental jukebox a few times while finishing up...it certainly fits!)
