Digital Blends

I'm calling this form of artwork a "blend" solely because that's what they were referred to in the fandom I learned to make them in (The LotR movieverse, for the record -- unsurprisingly, there was some amazing source material to work with!) It's kinda photomanipulation and kinda digital collage and kinda who knows. It's just fun, and I love making them, and sometimes I can cough up something that makes me pause and go "oh hey, that's pretty!" Making these is also a great way to learn the ins and outs of a new graphics program, too. I became fairly competent with PaintShop many moons ago, and then Photoshop's many iterations through fandom blending. Now to conquer the GIMP...
